3-4 Year old Preschool class
Our three- and young four-year-old program meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with both morning and afternoon classes available. Each class session runs for two and a half hours, and we maintain a low 1:5 teacher-to-student ratio with a maximum class size of 10 students.
Throughout the school year, children develop a wide variety of skills, including fine and gross motor skills, social and emotional development, pre-reading, writing, and early math skills. Students also participate in science and social studies activities, as well as educational field trips that enrich their learning experiences.
Children must be fully potty trained prior to enrollment.
4-5 Year old PRE-K class
This class is designed for children ages 4 and 5 who will be entering kindergarten the following school year. Classes meet four days a week, Monday through Thursday, for two and a half hours each day, with both morning and afternoon sessions available.
The program places a strong emphasis on kindergarten readiness and academic preparedness while also supporting social and emotional development, as well as fine and gross motor skills. Students participate in engaging science and social studies activities and enjoy educational field trips throughout the year.
Additional programs offered to B.U.M.P. students
In addition to our regular preschool curriculum, Brookfield Methodist Preschool periodically offers optional enrichment programs led by outside organizations for an additional fee. These programs are designed to provide children with fun and engaging opportunities to stay active while building confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Enrichment activities may include programs such as basketball, physical fitness, movement classes, or other age-appropriate recreational activities. Participation is completely optional, and program offerings may vary year to year.
